Responsible for the preparation of food to be served complying with all applicable sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards and following established food production programs and procedures. Responsible for appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss, waste, and fraud.
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Two years’ experience with culinary cooking required. Certified in culinary cooking preferred. Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as recipes, safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and perform all related functions of food service. Experience in quantity cooking. Cook should posse’s knowledge of ADA nutritional requirements. Ability to calculate figures and amounts used in recipes. Ability to operate kitchen equipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must have Intermediate to advanced experience in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), the use of personal computers, and standard office productivity software.
